stumbling..but making it.

so this is goin to be short but i just want to write something for anyone ( if anyone) who reads this. I just spent a week at my site...and its not easy. I knew it would be hard but i wasnt expecting it to be quite this hard. I was going to throw in the towel. I had my bags packed and everything and i called and told PC i couldnt do it i wanted to go home. BUT i'm going to try. I'm going to keep pushing as long as i can. Im trying to take it only a week at a time cause anything else seems too long right now. Anyway the site is about 2-3hrs up a river, we don't have electricty but i knew we wouldn't. had no idea how much i would want it though. our house is...okay its really small and needs works We have a serious rat problem..which terrifies me so i jump under my net at 7 everynight and cocoon myself in. The community is really nice i love the kids. Hopefully i can do something really great with the job. For me the site is just overwhelming remote i never realized how social i was until now. But im going to keep trying everyday and hopefully ill adjust cause i love being in guyana. I'm doing okay though..learning how to cook without whatever you have. i miss everyone soooo much and i lvoe you all. pleaseee write me.
