Soo I just spent the last week roaming the northern va area. I went to stay with my best friend from college Joanna and our friend Megan. We spent new years together. We went to this HUGE event called big night D.C.. It was a lot of fun but WAYYYY to crowded, and having to wait almost 2 hours in the D.C. cold for a cab was not fun. Then getting charged $200 was definitely not fun. But whatever its all memories. It was kinding sinking in that its probably the last time I'll see them until after PC. I'm really excited and ready to go on this journey though. It will be one month tomorrow til we leave. AHHHH!
Well anyway after I left Joanna's (thanks mama and papa Lightner for letting me stay!) I headed to another friend's house (Amy) to spend the rest of the weekend. I loveee going to her house and hanging out with her. I alwayyyyss have fun with her no matter what we're doing (poppin buttons lol). We seriously think alike. While I was with her I had my first Dave and Buster's experience and travelled to Maryland for the first time, kinda cool. But I really don't like northern va. People are so rude. It makes me uncomfortable. Anyway Saturday night we went to Dupont Circle which was a really fun time. It was really sad for me to leave her to though and her cutie nephews because they love me. (I mean how could you not?) I hope that I get to see her again before I leave though (hint hint).
Overall I had a really great week. But I am SOOOOO excited and still a little nervouse that this is all really about to happen. I think it's all starting to seem real...maybe that should have happened a while ago? oops. I swear tomorrow I am going to actually put my stuff in the suitcases. I'm such a procrastinator. I guess that's what happens in college.

Haha I know EXACTLY what you mean about NOVA. After living on LKG for so long, it was CRAZY when Mom and Dad moved up there. They lived in Herndon, which is like right next to Dulles Airport, so I know where the Dupont Circle and all that is. I mean, anywhere that does not serve sweet tea is nowhere I want to be lol. And yes, everyone up there is rude! Ill take the south anyday! I hope you are looking forward to this last month!! I cant wait to read your blogs once you are there!
