the beginning stages of packing

So I actually got a lot done today. I layed out all the clothes that I think I want to take and I realized the crazy amount of clothes that I have. I think I actually am pretty much okay on the dress clothes side. But I hadn't thought too much on what regular clothes I wanted to take. Luckily, I really love summer and try to ignore the other seasons entirely when buying clothes. I have a good amount of skirts (I think 4) and a good amount of dresses too (about3) that would be comfy for Guyana. I need to get some plain shirts that I can wear with my dress skirts though then I think I am good. I want to give myself a pat on the back for not having a mountain of clothes piled in my room. I actually have a pretty small amount of clothes. And I made a list of everything that I layed out. Very productive of me.
On another note I finished at Longwood on Friday, so I am officially a college graduate and a licensed teacher (technically). BUT I won't be getting my actual license that I can frame until anywhere from March to May because it takes so long for them to be processed. Soooo..that kind of scares me because PC asked me to send a copy to them before I leave. But I mean Longwood will verify that I am in fact licensed to teach (that feels so great to say). So hopefully all will work out well. I know this hasn't been the most exciting post..but my life is pretty boring right now. In fact I'm off to knit scarves for xmas gifts. What can I say I'm an old soul.

  1. Hahaha I read all your blogs just now, and this one made me giggle. When I read license to teach, the first thing I did was say out loud in a very spy-ish scary voice "license.... to TEAACHH" haahha. It must be fun to back summery stuff. The only crap Jess packed was huge winter coats, thermals, winter boots, -50 degree sleeping bags, see where Im going? haha. Just be glad you will get a lot more room to pack! Sounds like you are really getting ready! I look forward to following you like I have been following Jess. We get to experience another culture through you guys!
